Need Dish-on-pole Installer for Kilkenny Area (Inistioge)

    Howdy,

My relative has a house with a bit of a treeline betwixt herself and the satellite. The others nearby all have their dishes on 6-8ft poles affixed to their houses.

The initial sky install lad as expected wouldn't do it.

Does anyone know who might be able to offer this service. Its Inistioge, Co Kilkenny so anywhere Waterford/ Wexford/ Kilkenny would do.

    cheers.

Here's a mad idea...why not get your relative to talk to his/her neighbours and ask them who installed theirs!!? Might even find out if they'd recommend them or not..

It's a long shot, but you'd never know....

They would have if using standard sky mini dishes on 8 ft poles. Unless some creative bracketry is employed these will only fit a max of 32 mm masts. These wiil wave around like daffodils in the slightest breeze. Have even seen 1'' skinny poles used:eek:
Far better to use a Triax 64cm dish, for example, with at least a 38mm rigid pole and decent T & K brackets. Check with the installer what he intends to use and get a price.
