AH & tCN have merged!

As recent threads in AH are becoming siliier and siliier, mabe it's time to merge After hours with the cuckoos nest. It's beginning to get difficult to tell the difference between them.

I'm sure there will be plenty of replies starting "Y" and ending "A!"

That's nonsense. There hasn't been a single thread here that can cope to compete with the better stuff in TCN and few the compete with the mediocre stuff.

The halcyon days may be past! Understatement of the year. Thats a bit like saying to a Jamaican "I heard it was a bit windy round your way last month" or telling an Iraqi that you heard there was a bit of trouble in his country recently.

And having just had a quick glance at your beloved forum Pighead sees that there is a whole thread dedicated to "Yer Ma" two others talking about underpants and another one with some bloke telling everybody he's angry. Thats top notch stuff right there alright.

Pighead does agree with the point you made about Pighead though.

Yore ma is so 7 years ago, now it's just not funny when constantly seeing it in every thread. Some of the worst offenders are in my ye old ignore list for a month or two until the crap joke dies down.

While AH may have it's mundane, done to death or just plain ****ty threads (sometimes all three) it is still a far cry from the pathetic attempt at "humour" or "craziness" over at tCN which lacks the intelligence to pull of what it attempts to achieve (with the exception of very few posters, Amp & Co being some of the obvious ones). AH can still offer up some funny posts and some decent threads, quite regularly in fact, and yes, while it has "changed" with an influx of new posters it's not all that bad.

I've always thought the honourable nest had a better quality of poster to AH. People in the nest know where the toilet is and how to use it rather than pissing in the middle of the street.
AH is like a nest for people who don't actually realise they're posting non-sense. (with the exception of the lovely dudess and some other occassionaly funny posters)
I personally think people who post Yore ma more than twice in the same year should be site banned. It's just cringe worthy at this stage.

That pretty much sums it up for me..

While i rarely venture to the nest anymore, there're still some excellent posters who've taken over from the lubnip invasion (some of whom are also younger lubnipers), with some quality posts. The leader has gone awfully quiet, but I'm sure there's plenty of life left in the citizens of the nest.

The nest is dead, long live the nest!
