Thighs touching?

At work I wear a suit. Everything is fine with my trousers in terms of leg length(31 inches) and waist size (32 inches). However, when I start to walk from more than 30 seconds or so my right trouser leg end creeps up a bit and I have to do a bit of a shuffle to drop it down over the edge of my shoe again. This dosen't particularly bother me - but may look odd to the person following.

My girlfriend had suggested that perhaps my right leg was longer, however I wasn't convinced.

Recently on holiday, after swimming & when walking away from the pool, (wearing sexy tiny swimming togs) I noticed that my thighs were rubbing together. Usually this skin would have been separated with shorts or trousers so I wouldn't have noticed. This seems to be the reason.

Does this happen to anyone else? I'm not fat (weight 70kg & height 5' 7''). Are my thighs an odd size? Maybe it is where I store my last bits of fat? Any ideas on thigh toning exercises apart from lowering overall bf%?

i have absolutely no idea, it sounds like badly fitting trousers tbh, but what size are you thighs if you measure the widest bit?

Happens to me all the time, more so in work when I have to wear trousers but even in tracksuits bottoms they can rub and chaff together.

Did you say thigh toning  ;) Sure building up your legs would just make it worse, I normally use a bit of sudocream!

dude, your not alone. my thighs are huge and always have been. the only time i had any resprite from the problem was when i was super fit a few years ago and running serious milage. now that im back playing competitive team sports they are as big as ever. id imagine its just down to genes ( and not the denim type :) )

The reason your thighs were rubbing together is because they were wet after swimming! I think most peoples thighs touch while walking, its only when they are wet (from sweat say) that we notice and they become sore.

Strange to see this thread because mine have been at me for the last couple of days:eek: . I'm ca. 12% bf.

The trousers fit fine. Talc powder and sudocream won't help because I can hardly plaster the inside of my trouser legs with it! Remember the problem is the trouser leg creeping up on the right side, not sore skin.

Wearing jeans or anything else is fine. I'm wondering now if it has something to do with squats which I started in the past year.

I'm roughly 13% bodyfat at the moment.

Seconded, maybe it's universes way of punishing you for previous speedo crimes !

Go to a tailor/alterations place and they'll tell you what the problem is.

Most women's thighs touch cos our limbs are angled slightly differently from the pelvis and we tend to hold weight there. That's why we can't wear jeans or trousers with low crotches on them, it causes terrible chaffing.
Anyway, there are certainly trousers that won't do that to you.
