Split rf2 signal

I was asked by a friend to run another connection from his sky box to a third tv.

At the moment the box is in the attic and feeds the main tv fron the rf2 out and the second tv from the rf1 out. (magic eye on the main tv)
(I know that the box shouldn't be in the attic etc....)

so i bought a splitter witch has 1 in and 4 out.(so far so good)

I brought along a magic eye,
so connected the rf2 to the in on the splitter. the main tv and the bedroom tv to the OUT .
had a signal to both tv's but the eyes didn't work .

So i have connected the rf2 to the OUT
and the main tv to the IN
the bedroom tv is connected to another OUT
Now the magic eye for the main tv works!

What am i doing wrong or is there something missing?
i would like to get the magic eye in the bedroom to work as well.
    :)

Sounds like the splitter isn't a compatible Sky type. There are special ones for digiboxes that allow the power to pass through properly to each outlet of the splitter (to power each eye). You generally have to use these when splitting to multiple TVs.

the power pass on the splitter you have is directional, either change it for splitter that has uni directional power pass on all legs or get a dedicated "link" splitter
