    just wondering wats de best way to sand my bass, im takeing the paint off to respray it again but my friend told me that i dont have to, take all of it off, can yous tell me the best way please.

    Welcome to boards :)

    Nope, you dont have to strip it completely. But I do suggest removing all the parts. You should just remove the glossyness off the finish so that the new paint has something to stick to. You'll have to use primer of course also.

    ill be honist, i dont have a clue how to do this but is there any type of paint that i have to use or can i use spray paint, im trying to design it like claptons clash 3 but not the same, ill have it in different colours and shapes, u get my idea, i dont realy know what primer does, so can u explain sorry, ;)
