I was due to fly with Ryanair to bratislava for a wedding in vienna this weekend but it's been cancelled due to illness. Will my travel insurance cover me for this if I don't go or should I travel anyhow.

Suppose it depends on your policy.

If it's the wedding that's cancelled due to illness, rather than your own illness I wouldn't think you're covered.

Dont think you would be covered. Go anyway and go to the match Sat evening, it should be some craic.

    Go anyway.

I can't think of any policy that would cover you for someone else's illness, unless you had it as a specific risk.
