How do you print page numbers on a pdf ebook?

I have a ebook of 340 pages I want to print. It has no page numbers in the PDF. Is there a way to add them in, or just have them while printing. I did consider just printing a word doc with 340 blank but numbered pages and feeding them back in.

That's actually a really good idea.

You'll need to get a pdf editor program to add them in otherwise. Pretty sure adobe rape your wallet for their acrobat writer. Also pretty sure there are free alternatives.
