Im looking to go away with a friend for 3/4days sometime between 21-30September but not sure where to go.Have thought of prague and barcelona as good places for that length of time. It will prob need a few things to do as my friend has a tendancy to be bored easily and nothing too strenuous due to health issues, apart from that hot or cold doesnt really matter( but not a spanish/greek island type of deal!). So if anyone has any good ideas i'd really appreciate it. Budget wise, as cheap as possible!

I generally start by checking what direct flights are available at good prices. Then I look for an excuse to select Budapest -- and I am only partly joking, as I think Budapest is one of the best short-break destinations in Europe.

You don't say what your interests are, and that makes it hard to recommend a destination. A place that appeals to an enthusiast for fine arts might not appeal to young folks on the pull.

I have written up some of my trips and uploaded them to www.iol.ie/~draoi

i agree with the above comment but you still can't go wrong with barcelona, there is tons for everyone and it'll still be hot enough for a drink on the beach and a swim
