Hey people i just purchased an ipod video 30g last wk. but plugged it in without fully charging it to the max. and now i am paying the price i get only maybe just under 2 hrs with a full battery. it actually scares me to look at the battery meter as it goes down so quickly.

i then read the manual and it said to recharge 4 about 4hrs on the 1st charge and i didnt do that. can i resolve this problem or am i stuck. any chance i could return for a replacement as i hav the reciept??

    THANKS

Try letting it completely discharge, then give it a full charge... otherwise you gotta bring that sucka back

just say it isn't holding a charge, you've had it less than a month so there will be no hassle

This "memory effect" shouldn't affect the kind of battery that's in the ipod. I'd bring it back.

Deff sounds like a faulty battery to me. I hardly ever like my ipod run down or fully charge and i still get a good life from the battery. They should take it back no problem.
