2 dishes 1 reciever?

    i got the lidl dish and reciever last week. now my cousin has offered us with a free sky dish if we want it.now i was thinking.would it be possible to somehow daisy chain the 2 dishes together and align to different sats? and would it be hard

    look for a thingy called a diseqc switch. You can get a 2 way one or a 4 way one. It allows you to connect up 2,3,or 4 dishes to this switch and run them all into the receiver through one cable. However your receiver has to be able to support this also. Look at your receiver manual and see if it supports Diseqc.

    there's not much point 'daisy chaining' two dishes when you probably only need one.

    First decide what sats you want to receive.

    He may want to set up one of 28.2 for FTA and another on Astra 1 or hotbird.
