    hey guys,

its holiday planning time and I have narrowed it down to one of the following

    3 weeks in thailand,
2 week (package holiday) on the red sea.

Both would be in mid march. I will be looking to do my AOWD on this trip but my GF who will be with me is not a diver and so this cannot be just a dive holiday.

I was plannin on doin a 2 week package holiday but then a friend got me thinking on thailand, flights are only about €800 and thats the biggest expense so im now seriously considering it.

I was lookin at Salma el shiek (sp?!) with budget travel for about 550. wats this resort like, both for diving and non diving?

Any recommendations on either location is much appreciated, inc recommended dive schools and accomadation
