    Hi there
I have a problem with the sound on my computer. It was working fine for myspace etc but now there is no sound. Can anyone talk me through in plain English what to do to check what's wrong. Thanks in advance!

Great to see other Galway people here.

Firstly, what operating system are you using?

Usually the most common problems are really simple:
    audio on mute,unconnected cable etc.

Click start,go to run and type in dxdiag. Then run through the sound there. That can often tell you if your having any problems.

Try reinstalling the sound card drivers.
