Things you must do before you die!!

A debate with another poster got me thinking What in your opinion are the things you must do/see before you die.

Based on my experiences
1.Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
2.Go the the top of the Eiffel Tower/Empire State building
3.Visit St Peter's in Rome (i am not even a catholic/christian) but a visit to this amazing place is a must for everyone, religious or not.
4.Have a pint in Sean bar in Athlone (officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the oldest standing pub in europe dating back to 900 AD)
5.Hike down the Grand Canyon
6.Ride the X-Scream, Insanity and Big Shot atop the 1150ft Stratosphere in Las Vegas (fookin mental)
7.YORE MA (ha ha before anyone writes it)

any other suggestions

I know its a bit cliche, but do a skydive. Best buzz you will ever get.

My best experience of the last few weeks has been driven in a Merc SLK AMG but a former police road cop on country roads in the UK at mental 140mph speeds +

I've done the first, with a round on an AK47 whilst in Cambodia. To be honest it wasnt much fun at all.

I think Antarctica is counted as one now which makes 7 (Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Australasia are the rest, if that helps at all )

Driving at 140mph + on country roads is the type of thing you would be doing before you die. Hopefully you'd still be saying "what a feeling" if you killed someone.

Things I want to do before I die.

I'm in Malta and I'm having one of *those* holidays. I go abroad occasionally and spend a week alone thinking about my place in this world and what I'm all about and where its all going etc.

I was talking to a mate back home on MSN when I said I went scuba diving here because its one of the things I want to do before I die. He laughed as said "thats not for a long time yet" and it got me thinking. (I asked him if he had a big egg timer with TOM written on it still full of sand and he accused me of having been drinking too much... I was as sober as a judge, the cheeky sod!).

Anyway, I sat and thought about it a while and I realised I have lots of things I want to do before I die but no list of them. Lists work great for me because they make me stress less about remembering everything I need to do. I dont actually DO any more then I would otherwise but I stress less about it all the same. So I got to thinking about the list of things I want to do or achieve before I shuffle off this mortal coil. I'm not under any delusion that I'm going to achieve them all, at least a few of them are aspirational at best but its good to have targets.

Some I've already had the good fortune to be able to fulfil, situations I either engineered to provide me the opportunity or situations that fell in my lap and I grabbed with both hands.

This list is not in any order. Actually it is, its in the order they occured to me when writing this, make of that what you will.

Play in the World Series Of Poker.

Change the law in Ireland to free websites from responsibility for what others use them to say.

Spend an evening with the Bedouin Tribe.

Learn to spell "Bedouin"

Learn to play the guitar.

Visit Australia/Newzealand (I have cousins there somewhere).

Visit the moss gardens in Kyoto and perform the Tea Ceremony. (Done)

Sail a tall ship (Done)

Visit Thailand and travel some of Asia (Done very recently)

Learn to Snowboard (Done) and Snowboard again after my accident (Not Done)

Make a TV program about Poker in Ireland.

Sing in public and not suck at it.

Scuba Dive (Done)

Swim with Dolphins in the open sea.

Cycle accross europe (Done)

Own my own place

Retire before I'm 45

See the Aura Borealis (Northern Lights)

Learn how to throw throwing knives...

Circumnavigate the globe.

Get a tattoo (Almost done while drunk in Vegas but me and my mate bottled it at last minute while standing in the queue)....
