I think the answer to that one is no mate, they possibly distort, split or generally get grubby, not recommended, you could buy a claymore and re-use your used ones in that!!

Normally not recomended for the reason iceage mentioned.

Personally however, I have reused bb's in my G18c pistol. Just the ones I was using to shoot soft targets in the house (a4 paper target with a pillow behind). Since the G18c fires at only .7 joules and isn't hitting any hard targets, they seem fine for reuse once cleaned. I've never had any problems. However, I would never ever do this with a more expensive AEG. Not worth the risk, especially due to the low cost of bb's.

Some places do offer BBs in bulk, yes. For example, airsoft scotland offer Xtreme precision biodegradable BBs in bulk or as individual bags. Airsoft scotland have expensive shipping to Ireland, but for a bulk order it'd probably be reasonable. They're not the only place to do bulk, I'm just using them as an example off the top of my head.

BFSL will be selling in Bulk. They are opening a store in Blanchardstown next week in the Rosemount Business Park. (end of snugborough road and turn right, heading away from the village)

I was desperate and bought the most expensive BBs in the local sports shop. They have groves in them with a little jagged bit. Will it harm the AEG

Best not to use them , they jammed in my AEG.

    Go To B.F.S.L
    Or Eirsoft.

    Jagged bits? Imperfect spheres?

If they are yellow or orange and are weighted at .12g then for gods sake dont use them in anything expensive because they will make a real mess of it.

How much did you pay as a matter of interest and what brand are they?

Let just say. Ye are lucky Oisin is not around. This question came up a while back and to say Oisin was adament about not reusing used BB's was an understatment. It is of course up to you but if you want to damage your nice new AEG then go ahead. Paul in HRTA will sell you a bag of 5000 for around 18€.

Also do not use cheap BB's. Would be OK obviously in Claymores or such but because they are out of shape or have burrs on them they will damage your AEG faster then reused BB's will.

Nice to know I made an impact ;)

As I said before, liken it to reusing tissue paper. Not only is it dirty, it's so cheap to buy more that's it's not worth the risk. If you can buy an expensive AEG then you should be able to afford 18 euro for 5000bbs.

    Percision barrels + dirt and/or fractures/imperfections = broken AEG.

If it doesn't happen instantly it'll happen eventually.

And no, I don't work for Excel :D
