We have just bought our 5 year old a new Bike and would like to be able to go out for a nice walk somewhere safe for him to ride it . We went to the castle yesterday but didn't realise bikes weren't allowed :( .

Does anyone have any suggestions please ? Castlecomer park is out as the paths are all gravel and he is only learning to ride now with stablisers.
Anywhere within a decent driving distance of Kilkenny city would be good as we can get his bike in the boot.

    Thanks !

The park up at Lintown? or maybe take a spin down to Inistioge to Woodstock.

You could try the Hebron Industrial estate on a Sunday.
There will be next to no traffic around and you will have plenty of road.
