Streaming Trouble WMP 11. HELP!

    Hi guys, I am having trouble streaming with WMP11. I want stream the following: http://tinopolis-pokerstarlive-eng-500k.wm.llnwd.net/tinopolis_PokerStarLive_Eng_500k

    It says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

    I also get a similar response when trying to stream from today fm.

    Do I need a codec pack or some fancy plugin ?

    Any help much appreciated,

    Working fine on WMP11 here for me just went to file-open url and pasted in the link and up came the video placeholder.

    You could try re-installing WMP.

    exact same issue here .. search your hd for mplayer2.exe .. use that for streaming instead by file open and copying url in.. good enough work around for me
