I'm not good with heels, most kill my feet, but I've had a lovely pair of black boots for the last three years (about a three inch heel) and they were really comfortable. But they're on their last legs now and need replacing, so I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend where to get a decent pair that aren't a nighmare to walk in. And preferably not too expensive. Thanks :)

Baratts in Henry Street or on Grafton Street usually have a good range of stuff and they are moderately priced.
River Island from time to time have nice boots with a 3" heel that my missus says are bliss. A little pricey, but they look good and the quality is good.
Buffalo on Wicklow Street don't have a massive range but the quality is top notch, though a tad pricey.

Thanks, yeah I have heard River Island are good for boots, I just dont like that shop in general but maybe I should check it out. Even if its a little pricey, its worth it if they last and are comfortable

They may be expensive but the fact is that their boots and shoes are of excellent quality and made from good materials. They don't look cheap, they look the part.

river island is not a rip off, okay they are more expensive than other shops and okay if you shop in pennys then you will think it is a rip off but the quality is so so much better and you pay for what you get...

River island is not even expensive, and certainly not a rip off :o

New Look shoes are an AWFUL fit most of the time.

Simon Harte (is that what it's called?) on Henry St. has loads.

Ah but they aren't so stylish and alot of them are made of syntethic materials.

Thanks fits - Is there a specialist fly store - saw them in schuuh (sp?) or office at the weekend and they only had shoes not boots! But they had a really small selection

Yes they dont have a huge selection anyway. Go online at Schuh to have a look. Theres a couple of nice boots on there. ( I like not-too-high wedges myself)

Oh I forgot to mention Graham's Shoes on Wicklow Street. They have a good range of boots and are pretty affordable. Decent brands too such as Fly, Bronx etc.
