    Hi everyone,

Just finished my paragliding training. I did it in Czech Republic because of the good weather and low price of the training and gear. Now I am back and air hungry :)
Does any of you know some good paragliding spots in Ireland, especialy near Cork?
Maybe you know any irish board about paragliding that I could search to find an answer for my question?

    Cheers

    Greg

Can't remember the web site but do a search for midlands paragliding club, nice people, but the may want you to do addition training as the terrain is different over here. I never got to finish ny training you get to many bad day over here, so you type of on call waiting for the correct weather. Best of luck with it.

Here is the official website for Ireland.

    http://www.ihpa.ie
Go there and there is all sorts of useful info.... a training zone. Weather zone etc.. they recommend a site http://www.paraglideadventure.com/

    Check it out :)

I just finished my training with the above school in spain.. it was great fun and i think there is a trip planned to morocco in November, :) I have no leave left though.

Err. In cork kerry area there is a fairly active group who fly. Ring the IHPA chairman Dara and he can give you some contact details of the members in the south.

    GOOD LUCK.
