    Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone could answer a quick question. I have flabby upper arms and I was wondering if using a small set of dumbells like any of the ones in argos for exanple would be suitable. Also what weight would I need? i am 5ft 3 and weak!

to get rid of flab you need to burn fat doing curls with dumbbells will not be enough

there are better people to advise on this than me but you cannot target specific areas to burn fat at. you will need to reduce overall body fat to reduce the fat on your arms but if you are very lean everywhere else then you might be lucky and your body will burn the fat from your arms first.

to burn fat you need to use more calories than you eat in a day ie a calorie deficit. You can find out how to do this in detail from the stickies
