Releasing another album with the E Street Band, it's out in early October and personally i can't wait. The first single is called "Radio Knowhere" and is available for free download from itunes.

He hasn't announce any Dublin dates for his tour yet but hopefully he will.

Any other Bruce fans out there?

Please tell me there's a Dublin date on the way! Can't decide whether or not to just go to Belfast to see him or hang on. These current dates are being listed as the "Fall Leg" on his site so probably can expect lots more dates next year.

New album solid on first listen. Time will tell how it grows on me.

track 4 - your own worst enemy hugely reminds me of Rufus Wainwright.

I reckon with no Dublin gig announced it is likely that he is holding out for Croker or Slane next summer..

Ah but isn't Bruce fairley loyal to AikenPromotions. Like isn't Slane a certain unmentionable promoters venue more or less? But he did play there in 85, hmm...

    Cardboard sleeve aside  ...

It's really rather good, even if all these reviews I read that pretend the Seeger Sessions was some kind of mistake are annoying me (ask anyone in the point last may, or november, one of the best "mistakes" ever :D )

That said, it's made me look forward to Belfast in December just that little bit more, that gig really should be magic ;)

Was disappointed on the first listen but must say it's great after two or three goes. Good interview with him in Culture in The Sunday Times yesterday.

It's too long to copy and paste but can be found here......

Did a double take when I heard the first couple of songs (Radio Nowhere was an instant classic tho, right from the start), wondered what the hell was goin on with "Girls In Their Summer Clothes", but then the dawn fog lifted and it has all burst forth in a glorious blast of golden sunrise(apols for the verbal diarrohea, hey, I'm on a roll here... ) - can't stop listening to it, roll on Belfast in December... quite excellent listening folks...

'Your own worst enemy' is a great tune, reminds a little of REM's 'at my most beautiful' from Up... Excellent record though

I thought "your own worst enemy" was one of the albums weaker point, it's still a good song just not as good the rest. "last to die" "You'll be coming down" "long walk home" "living in the future" are all excellent.
