Redefine Hotkey on Dell

Have a Dell Vostro 1500, there's a key next to the power key, it's got a picture of a small house on it. Currently when i push it it makes Dell Media Centre pop up.. 2 questions: 1. Can i change this setting? How? 2. What the hell is Dell Media Centre?
