Musician seeks established band

Hi,

I'm guitarist also play drums(sadly don't have my own kit,no room at home)I practice in citycentre.Can play a little bit on bass too.Still learning piano aswell..
I'm looking for a band who are Professional,Serious about what their doing,(No arsing around /egos),possibly their own rehersal space n gear,and are hopefully looking for a musician to join .Could even be getting ready to record ,signed etc..

WTF do u think I've been doing for the last yor so.I've spent most time jamming with friends who are in other bands. Last few months I seem to have wasted my time on people who never botherd to get back to me.

I'm playing guitar for a few years,Am into Rory G,RHCP's,The Foo's,RATM,Zepp,Rod&Gab,etc..

Sorry man, what you're looking for is a band that have put in the work and for you to join and reap the benefits. No such thing will ever happen. Not these days anyhoo.

You either look for musicians yourself and start from scratch, which will be hard enough in itself. Or you sell your guitar and buy a drum kit, if you are sufficiently good you more than likely will find a band relatively fast. Otherwise, keep dreaming.

In fairness, theres a lot of bands that put in a lot of work who still look for new members. Im in a band myself thats been giggin for the last while, and im playin with some of the most dedicated musicians I know (who else CYCLES out to mine at 2 in the morning to be ready for practice at 10 the next day, in case they dont wake up??) and we're currently lookin for a lead player.

It takes a long time to find like-minded musicians, especially in ireland. But keep trying and you will reap the benifits.

What I'm looking for is a band that know where they want to go.I do NOT want to join something to to "reap the benefits",thats not fair on the rest of the group obviously!Believe me I know theres alot of hard work involved.If I gave the impression that I wanted to join a band without" putting in the work,"Thats not what I intended.
