[REQ] Laptop Battery

    Looking for any place (online or in shops) to get a replacement battery for a dell inspiron 6000

    I would prefer not to use ebay (in case they are the ones from the dell replacement program)

    Anybody know where is the cheapest??

    Don't laugh, but I got two new batteries from Duracell.co.uk. about 70 STG (HP's DV1000) each, but good - very good!

    Any links to the laptop section? Cant seem to find anything other than regular batteries?

    id say if you have any basic abiliy with soldering just replace the cells in the battery yourself.

    pop it open and you likely to find something that looks like 6/8 AA's hooked together. just google for whats in it and order the replacement cells for a fraction of the prix of a whole battery.

    i think meta cafe or youtube or someone have tutorials. rings a bell
