I've been looking over the creatine products on www.pronutrition.ie and I've no idea at of the differences between brands, if any exist at all.

What brand do you use? Would you recommend it?

The pro-x one is good. Most on that site would be of good quality just watch for the brands coming from china

Stay clear off Holland + BArrett, dont be tempted by the cheap price.

Jon gave me some Olimp Stuff (it is creapure), which is meant to be the exact same as creatineX just cheaper per g. Ask him about it.

well first you have to realise that creatine is sold in different forms theres creatine monahydrate which is just plan creatine and has no calories, there is creatine mixed with dextrose which alot of people that are bulking take because the intake of creatine with simple sugars after training will spike insulin levels increase absorption and theres also creatine ethyl esters which is supposed be alot purer and absorbs better but this is still up for debate. My advice is to go with any reputable supplement company like eas, maximuscle, prolab etc and go with plain creatine monahydrate. Take 5g(1 teaspoon) 4 times daily for 5 days(loading phases) and then take 5-10 g every day after that split up into 2 daily doses with one after training(maintanence phase). You could alternatively skip the loading phase and go straight into maintanence as you will load up eventually on 5-10g but this takes a little longer a month rather than a week
