Error while trying to play .wmv file

    Not having much luck trying to play a .wmv file that I got.

    Few things to point out:
    I have Perian
    I have Flip4Mac
    I'm using VLC to try play this - wont work in Quicktime.


    This is the message that I'm getting:

    But Im presuming its something to do with the intermittent DRM support that Mac has for Windows Media Format.

    Sorry, I have nothing constructive to add to this, I've been trying for months to do the same. You could try using Parallels to play them in Windows or CrossOver Mac http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/ to play them in Windows Media Player. (Have to pay for both of these, but if you can justify it, well worth it.)

    Lesson: WMV, and especially WMV with DRM, are crap.

    I agree totally, ah well I can live without this file!
