Heres the Q. Ive taken all shows on boards that have there own forum and this is a what if, you may like all these shows you may like none but anyway.

Assume that all these shows air on different networks at the exact same time, which one would you watch, Keep in mind that when you go into work/school/colledge/boards.ie you will get spoilered for shows you didnt watch because they where all on the the same time, No option to download.

No im sure you and 7 mates could all record one episode each, ye sure whatever its a what if question.

So what show would you watch out of these (the extra 3 that didnt have a forum of there own i just went by moast recent and most active topics)

Out of these shows you can only watch one new episode, Which show? 83 votes

The Wire. A much as I like most of the programmes on that list, the wire has much more depth and interesting charachters etc. Its the best tv show I have ever seen.

Sopranos is the greatest TV show ever made. If it wasnt in there I would have had a tough time between Lost and Heroes.

The Wire=Up there with the Sopranos and The West Wing in being one of the most overrated tv shows of the last 10 years

The Wire over rated:eek: , are you mad. Its probably the most under rated show on tv.

    Gotta be Lost for me!

Has to be Heroes for me, it's my latest addiction. I enjoyed Dexter and am interested in Lost but Heroes has drawn me in and made me desperate to see the next chapter.

I am shocked and appalled. The Wire is, by some distance, the best TV show I have ever seen. I also love the Sopranos, but the themes the Wire brings up have followed me around since I started watching it. I've never thought so much about a TV show, nor have I been so gripped.

So yeah, I voted for the Wire.

I went with Lost, primarily because I don't know many people who watch heroes, or 24 or Prison Break, I've seen Sopranos & family guy...

Also, with lost if you miss an episode so much seems to happen that someone is bound to give away some big thing, not as true with 24 or Prison Break...

It doesn't matter if you hear the whole story with Family Guy, you can still watch it and find it funny...

And with Heroes, i'd just have to hide from the 1 or 2 people i know who do watch it, and catch the repeat...

I gave my vote to the Wire as well. Tough choice between it and the Sopranos but I think it is just that bit better. Now while I love Prison Break/Lost/Heroes they just cannot compete with the level of The Wire. Truly intelligent and thought provoking TV which it's a shame there is not more of.

Probably Prison Break for me. Though I'd really miss Lost and Heroes.

Heroes but seeing as there's a Serenity forum I really think Firefly should have been included as their practically the same. If it was... Firefly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,905 ✭✭✭User45701

****, i didnt think of firefly because its not on anymore but i love that show i dont get much free time to watch it but i squeezed in a few episodes at the weekend, you forget how re-watchable that show is even knowing it word for word its still amazing.

I voted Prison Break, but there's a few things I'd watch on that list as well.
    But that's why I have Sky+ :)

Week for week I think Prison Break gives it's viewers more entertainment and more drama than any of the other shows (that I have seen) on that list. The writers never fail to deliver a great episode and it doesn't frustrate me as some of Lost's episodes do!

In saying this, I still haven't gotten around to watching The Wire. Soon though, I promise ;)
