    Yep, they will work together no problems at all. As you can see the monitors signal inputs are dvi and vga. And the 8800 has dual dvi outputs. So they will work no problems.

    deadly thanks man. just one other question too - im buying the quad core Q6600 - can u reccomend a good motherboard for about 250EUR from komplett that will work with that processor and graphics card?

    You might want to consider a board that supports DDR3 RAM (some form of future-proofing) and also has good overclocking capabilities. This Asus fits your budget quite nicely and gets favourable reviews on most sites.
