if a person had to go to court but the charge was dismissed/never proceeded with are their records still held by the court/gardai about it.

is one allowed to access them, and how would one go about it?

if one then had to go to court again at a later date in relation to another matter would this be brought up again and taken into consideration ?

You can apply to the court for a copy order of the conviction. It costs €9

If the case was dismissed then it will not be mentioned if you are in court again.

Here, your posts were deleted by the moderators twice already. Now you've come back twice today looking for the same information with a new user name. The forum is not for legal advice.

Go to a solicitor. You'll need one anyway.

www.citizensinformation.ie will answer what you want, look under Justice, then criminal.
