the cleveland, taylor made, cobra ones are all very good. for a bit less, the mizuno is also quite popular.

they are good clubs to have in the bag if you struggle with your 3 iron, 4 iron or even your 5 iron.

They are great for out of the rough and off the fairway. Very easy to hit. I have one and i'd recommend.

I'd recommend my one... €20 in Lidl three years ago, no kiddin :) Works great, 19*, easy to hit and handy around the greens...

Best thing you can do is go for more than one. At least a 3 and a 4 equivalent. A 2 depending on how you are with fairway woods, but do not dismiss ditching your 5 iron for one as well. Only a few years ago it we would have seen it as pensioners and ladies only - but they really are more forgiving. Even if you consider yourself a good long iron player you will get a benefit. The best shots will not be better than you could achieve previously but you will hit fewer poor shots.

I have gone for the Nickent Ironwood and am very impressed. I guess I would be equally happy with most makes out there tho - its 'a' hybrid rather than 'which' hybrid that matters.

I've got a Callaway X series 4 (replaced my four iron) and I really like it. Dead easy to hit compared to the 4 iron.

There is none as far as I'm aware... It's just two different terms for the same product...

Its difficult to find a bad rescue club great out of semi rough i use a Cleveland.
Try playing the ball back in the stance like off the center helps to catch the ball first instead of loads of ground before it.
It should replace your 3 or 4 iron.
Be warned they hit the ball very high so into the wind better to hit the 3 wood easy in an effort to keep the ball down.
