Has the theory test changed recently

I did the theory test last year, my dad is looking to do it next month, there was talk of it changing to a more difficult kind when I did it, has this happened ? if so are the changes online anywhere ?

theres a specific theory test for bikes now, did you have to do that?

no i did the old one, better get the aul fella to buy the book/cd so, thanks for the info

Yeah, the test has changed since last years one, i just did my theory test today and passed, so i'm a happy go lucky scamp, it ain't hard, i got 37/40 and i didn't study too hard

yea, the biggest reason for failures (i'd say) is overconfidence

get your da a copy of the cd so he can get used to answering on the pc etc

I thought it was pretty decent (the cd), good way to learn some of the right answers (some of the q's are quite ubiquitous) and picking up on making sure you read the q's and a's (for questions asking for 2 answers, just giving one is a wrong answer etc)

did it around 20 times over a few days and passed with flying colours in ~10 mins

Funny story, my da was all against me getting a bike, telling me how dangerous they were and how cold it was in winter etc etc, well he had a go on mine to see what it was like and now he has a brand new 600
