    Um, why was the final on a Friday??? Isn't it normally on a Saturday? Bit of a daft day for it?

    It's always on a Friday. Apparently this is from when Schweppes used to sponsor it, and had a big corporate hoo-ha at the match. Fridays suited them better.

    It probably should be changed to a weekend day, but if they ever get a sponsor for it they'll have an input into the date.

    Possibly my bad, but I seem to remember it being on Saturdays these last few years.
