    Yes you can, but the Sky+ recording/playback features won't work.

    No ways around it, apart from paying £10stg per month for recording features on a Freesat From Sky card. Of course, you'd need to know all the details of where the card was sent to to work this, doubtfully worth the hassle.

    have there been any advances with pvr's or hard drive recorders with automatic recording. I believe there was a make up available using a phantom thing but his all sounds very roundabout. id love to see a pvr/hard drive recorder working directly off the sky programming guide.
