    Hey guys & gals,

I'm taking a trip to Prague, this Saturday coming, a five day photo trip with herself. The last time I flew 'abroad' to the UK was with Ryanair, they allowed my laptop bag to be carried as hand luggage along with my camera bag (A standard sized backpack) without any extra charge or batting an eyelid.

I'm flying with Aer Lingus this time and according to their site, I can only bring one piece of hand luggage, the rest must be checked in. To be honest, I don't like the prospect of checking in €7k worth of camera gear or €2k worth of computer equipment, I like to keep it with me at all times. And one is useless without the other if I'm being honest aswell !

Has anyone had any experience with bringing a laptop bag along with your allowed piece of hand luggage ?

    Cheers !

She'll have her own stuff Tederick, have the bag down to an approximate 7kg, putting all the cables etc into check in baggage, may tell them that tho at check-in less they try a controlled explosion on it ....

    Hey,

I'm heading to prague among others cities in Europe in November on a 12 day trip(photo trip). I just wondered what sort of camera you had etc...

    I've a nikon D80 18 -135mm kit(first SLR which I got last week :)

Wondering will that lens suffice for general photos along the trip? Im going with 10 others so we're all staying in hostels..which I'm not too happy about considering I'll have about 2k worth of equipment with me. Don't know what to do regarding security etc.. while out there.

I've blacked off the brand names on all my equipment, that does generally work from what I heard, other than that, will be keeping everything close to me and locked in room safe.

    I'll be bringing a 30D, Sigma 24-70 f2.8 & Sigma 10-20 lenses ...
