It's not accredited by the US at the mo, though it is likely that this will be rectified in about 12 months, a number of US students dropped out of the course last year due to this.

Just to add to what Dajaffa said.
There's no such thing as international accreditation. The degree has Irish and European accreditation. It hasn't lost it's American accreditation, because was never accredited by whatever USian accrediting body. The Vet school is on track to getting accredited, this was set back last year after the Vet School came under 'umbrella school' of Agriculture, Food Science & Veterinary Medicine, for reasons can't even begin to remember the US isn't keen on that and the move had slowed down the accreditation process.

As alredy said the MVB degree has Irish and European accreditation, (RCVS). It hasn't lost ANY accreditation, because it never had AVMA (USA) accreditation. Currently to practice in USA a UCD vet must complete US Board Exams. Hopefully it will get AVMA accrediation in the near future as its the gold standard

I'd be skeptical about whether they'll get it or not, for what it's worth. I hope they do. It's a good college with some excellent lecturers and hospital staff.
