Student Counselling Service e-mails (Supplemental Exam Workshops)

Why must the Student Counselling Service send out so many e-mails about 'Supplemental Exam Workshops'? Just one would be enough - I don't think people are so scatter-brained that they need to be reminded several times that there are 'workshops' coming up. I believe I have received four e-mails regarding these workshops. I am also sure that if they put a bit of effort into it they could make-up a mailing list containing only the people who are actually doing supplemental exams, rather than blasting the entire student population with e-mails about them. At the very least they could exclude people who are certainly not doing supplemental exams - in my course (and probably most others) you can only sit supplemental exams after first and second year, so it is ridiculous sending these e-mails to other years. Finally why do they always have to write at least part of their e-mails in FULL CAPS, and often seem to have mistakes in them? Have you ever looked at their website? It's full of mistakes too...

    DON'T FORGET! SUPPLEMENTAL EXAM WORKSHOPS!
THERE IS NO NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP, PLEASE TURN UP ON THE DAY WITH A VALID STUDENT CARD. PLEASE COME EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!

REMEMBER! REMEMBER! REMEMBER! SUPPLEMENTAL EXAM WORKSHOPS!

I have just noticed that they send their e-mails to postgrads aswell... Do any postgrads do supplemental exams?

Two words my friend, "report spam". That's where they go when I get them.

These f*ckers are worse than the "AUTHENTIC VIAGRA AND CIALIS" ones - at least my junk mail filter detects those ones...
