    Hiya

    Just got a new 13" macbook and 80gb video ipod.

    going travelling soon on holiday, anyone recommend decent cases for both? saw a guy with mad stratched ipod screen and dont want that to be me:)

    On laptop cases, try Woody's DIY of all places if you want rock solid. They usually stock hard flycases for laptops and toolkits so you should be sorted there; I believe they are circa €40 (Don't quote me on that) and will give you ample room for a plugboard and charger etc. If it's a soft case, any half decent PC shop or bag store will sort you out (I may even have one about the house, you are welcome to it if you like)

    can't reccommend crumpler "the gimp" cases enough for any laptop never mind a macbook. http://www.igear.com/

    for an ipod i'd get a kid's wooly sock or ipod socks if you're feeling like wasting cash.
