This looks a very impressive offer

The PowerShot range has it all. In fact theres only one thing that would make them even more tempting a Cashback offer. And if you purchase from Thursday 23 to Tuesday 28 August, that is exactly what Canon is giving you:

    PowerShot A550 £30 Cashback

    PowerShot A560 £40 Cashback

    PowerShot A570 IS £50 Cashback

7Day Shop stock these models among many other retailers.
    The A550 comes to £69 with the £30 cashback,thats a little over 100 euro for a 7M camera.

    Conveniently powered by AA-batteries
The PowerShot A550 is powered by affordable, widely available AA batteries, ensuring that you can keep shooting for as long as you want to.

Hmmm thats a pity it aint a lithium battery,AA batteries every 5 mins...

For what it's worth, as the owner of a Powershot A710IS (the A570IS's big brother, for all intents and purposes, also powered by 2xAAs) the batteries themselves are fine, and last quite well, with one caveat.

The flash charging interval is awful. It can take three to five seconds for the flash to charge to take a photo indoors, which is awful. Other than that, without the flash I can easily get 200+ shots out of mine, even with the image stabilizer left permanently on and fiddling a lot with the zoom buttons :)

    Just thought I'd mention it.
