We are forming a new ice hockey team.
If you have experience playing and have a full kit and wish to play please contact us at the email below for more details.
Open to all Trinners students and International Students.
    Goalies especially welcome.

Right. Call me cynical but would ice not be a requirement for such a sport?

So you want to start an Ice hockey team for Trinity students? but they need to have their full kit here, just hanging about...

They're working on booking Front Square in early January. It's slippy enough.

An SU presidential candidate (Tom Dillon's older brother Pat, perhaps?) did promise a Front Square ice rink. Though I presume this team will play indoors somewhere...

Incidentally the OP's name is a great hockey image - the zamboni is the machine that comes out to polish up/resurface the ice before and during a game or a skating session. What I'd give to see one of them cruising past the Campanile ;)

    Geek alert.
Daithí, you're not supposed to know these things (or at least lie and pretend you don't)

I lived in Canada for a year. Although I didn't really learn that much about hockey (baseball is the sport I follow, weirdly), and indeed was and still am a terrible skater, zambonis are both cool and important. I even wrote a blog post about zambonis and the law ;)
