    Hey,

Heading off to europe on a 10-12 day trip in November. Want to get a good big rucksack for the journey. Any recommendations/places to buy online etc...???

Will use it for other trips in the future so don't mind spending abit to get a decent sized one.

    cheers

Assuming you are in Dublin then "The Great outdoors", just off Grafton street (around the corner from HMV). They have very knowledgable staff, big selection of all sorts of stuff. Not the cheapest but they are still worth it.

between capel street and henry street (can't remember the name of the road but it's the continuation of henry street towards capel street), there are like 4 or 5 outdoor shops with huge selections and not too pricey

Chatham Street? Last street on right off Grafton St. before you get to the Green ... I think!

Don't get anything bigger than 65-75L if you're a guy ... I'd recommend Deuter - I got a 55L one for my RTW trip and it hasn't so much as a scuff on it. Very durable and good back support. It also has a built in rain cover which comes out and can be used as a lockable travel bag when flying. Very useful.

I don't expect to have to buy another one for a good few years yet. My boyfriend just bought this one online ... has everything you'd need.
