The hamster died last night. R.I.P. hamster!

So tomorrow I'll be travelling up to Luton, together with Tony the Pirat, for the APAT European amateur poker championships. Without my hamster powers I'm not likely to make the final table, but maybe some other powers will pop up. ;)

Are there any other boardies travelling up to this event?? Doc? Ste? Anyone?

P.S. Thank you so much Kevin for our metaphorically conversations. Trying to keep sanity isn't always easy. Oh, and sorry for making you bubble, I must be a crappy dealer. :D

Won't make it myself, other commitments, but best of luck with it. Another FT would be nice.

R.I.P. Hamster, you'll need a new sign off now... :(

I like Luton. Well the casino anyway. Haven't been to the new Grovesnor yet but the staff of the old one were great. There's a very cute dealer too.

    Good luck JacQues and Tony.

Well, Tony agrees about Luton. I think its fine though, not dodgy at all, just "aware". I will keep ye posted about the progress if possible. Tony just started playing day 1a. I am in day 1b tomorrow. The casino is quite classy and the tables aren't crammed together as with most casinos. So far so good. :)

Tony was out mid day 1. Flopped a straight and check re-raised all in after a bet and a few callers. Original better called with a flush draw and higher inside straight draw and got his inside straight for a higher one than Tony's. :(

I'm out late day one. Had a straight on the turn and some guy bet really hard. I went all-in and he called, showing a set. Obviously the river paired the board.

Great tourney/structure nevertheless. Had fun dealing a SnG. :) Going back in a bit, maybe play a SnG. Definitely watch the final table.
