    ..When he spies another idiot on the other side. He shouts over to him:
    "hey, there, how do I get to the other side of the river?"
    The other idiot rolls his eyes, tuts and shouts back,
    "You wally, you're already ON the other side!"

    ...so he decides to test her hearing. He shouts into the kitchen,
    "Rose, tell me if you can hear this".
    There is nothing but silence so, worried, he moves a little closer to her.
    "Rose, tell me if you can hear this!" He shouts again, and again there is nothing but silence.
    He moves even closer to her, and is only about 2 feet away and he shouts at the top of his voice;
    "ROSE, tell me if you can hear this", at which point his wife turns around and shouts back,
    "For the third f*cking time, yes I hear you, now stop asking!!"
