... when you see titles like this! They start off the "title" but don't finish it and you have to open the damn post to see what they hell it is they are on about. And the majority of the time all you've succeeded in doing is reducing the life time click counter on your mouse by 1. All these 1's add up!

I hover and read the initial sentences of the post. If they seem interesting then I open the post.

I just hate when people name their thread "Help!!!", should be insta-banned :mad:

Or when people use ! instead of a correct ?, like in the OP. Stay in school!

Titles that display no information at all are really irritating.
Have you ever been in the tech forums. I can't remember how many times I've seen a thread with the title 'Help please' or 'Just wondering' or something similar. It would help if they gave some sort of indication what the thread is about.

Whats worse is those thread titles that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter.
Like that time Pighead clicked on a thread entitled "The Thread of Fluffy Clouds and Puppy Dogs Tails" and was assaulted by a myriad of disgusting pornograpghic material including a very very old lady going for a poo, and her with her wrinkly bum faced towards the screen. Sickening.

Maybe there was some beastiality in there but you weren't looking hard enough or you just got distracted by the granny taking a poo.

Well she was going for a poo into a bulldogs mouth but from the angle the gog was at you couldn't see his tail and there was definitely no fluffy clouds.

Maybe the poster cropped the pictures before uploading them and accidentally cut out the tail. A simple mistake to make.
