New York & Mexico - VISAs

Ok, I need someone's help or advice.

Basically, next month we're having our annual holiday (well overdue after months of rain).

We're going to New York for a few days and then getting a flight from JFK to Mexico, then back to New York for a few more days and then home.

We're booked all this independantly, ie flights through the internet and the Mexico package through travelocity.

Does anyone know if we require visas or will have any trouble?

I've tried searching the web but I'm not coming up very lucky!

A quick google of "mexico visa requirements" brings up http://www.consulmexny.org/eng/visas_fmt.htm. Click on Ireland and it says

"Tourist Visa to travel to Mexico

Citizens of your country do not need a visa to enter Mexico as tourists. However, you must travel with your valid unexpired passport.

You may not engage in profitable activities or study in Mexico."

You shouldn't need a visa to enter the USA, so it looks like you will be fine.
