    Hey Colly

I suppose the best bet would be for you to tell us all where you are located and then maybe people can point you to the nearest club.

Well I'm based in the city centre so most places are fairly straightforward to get to - I'm the auld age of 30 so if there's a place that takes on senior citizens that might do me!

Any help appreciated - cheers lads!

Colly - Naomh Mearnog in Portmarnock (a little out the way) used to run a 'Social Hurling' session one evening a week when I lived in the area. Slightly modified rules for no contact etc, but would be very accepting of total beginners. It was started out there, but may have spread to other locations. If you call the club house out there they should be able to put you in touch with someone.

Im 25 living in Dublin ( Blackrock) for a few years now after leaving Wexford, gave up the hurling when i had to go to college/work etc but would love to get back into it gradually, id be happy just to get super fit again, any clubs around this area that would be welcoming???( i know there is plenty of clubs but who would take on somebody just wanting a run-around and a bit of training without being brilliant I dont know).

    Any suggestions?

easiest thing then would be a club with a team below junior b, who take themselves seriously enough to train, but not too serious - if you get where I'm going?

a club who don't ask where you're from or what level you played at
