I am due to start senior fresh but after reapplying to the CAO I have decided to start a different course in october. Is there anyway i can keep my old student name/number/ email address (x@tcd.ie) and have it used as my official college email? Not a big issue, but it'd be nice not to have to inform everybody of my email address (I'm bound to forget somebody important) also I'd prob lose my address books and the like.

    thanks

It's been a while since I left Trinity, but I believe you keep your email address and student number until you graduate.

Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I do seem to remember people who had repeated or changed courses having the same student number and email.

Yeah friend of mine applied for a transfer from arts to science within college after failing first year, then deferred it for a year. So yeah I guess it shouldn't be a problem, once you let them know what's going on.
