I'm in a pickle. Ireland has a severe lack of places where you can sell small gig tickets quickly. I'm stuck with a ticket for a gig this weekend and I dont know where I could advertise it. Any suggestions?

You give out if someone tries to sell (tout) a ticket yet you advertise two of the main culprits both Needaticket and the buy and sell are notorious for touts.

    Shame on you.

    kinda hypocritical

i hav two tickets for a high profile unmentionable gig at the weekend which i wish to sell (not at a profit or nyting face value as i won them on a radio show). i did want to go to the gig but having been to the venue last nite it was very awkward to get home and i just dont tink its worth the trouble. can i bring em bak t ticketmaster and get a refund r will i hav t find another means of sellin em?

Aren't ticketmaster running a ticket exchange thing on their website these days though which allows you to offload it for face-value (note this could just be the uk site at the mo).

Think my ticket is from the same gig... impossible to sell... My friend backed out and I somehow got landed with the offloading of it! I'm still going, I cant wait, dont care about how I get home!!! Ticketmaster wont refund tickets its on their website under policies:
"Policies set forth by our clients, such as venues, teams and theatres, prohibit us from issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.

Mneh. the guy needs to get rid of a ticket an he sounds like he needs to get rid of it fast.

Ive never bought a ticket above face value and ive bought tickets from all them sites so I don't know what you are complaining about.

It's just for people in the UK. I tried to sign up for it and they asked me for a UK bank account number.
