hey guys. me and my bf are going to munich next tuesday. Our flight is on 7.10am. the check-in time is 5.10am! i was wondering will it be ok if i checkin online and then get to the airport before 6?
he lives about 15 mins from Heustion station.(he lives beside National College of Art and Design) we're thinking of getting the aircoach to the dublin airport, cos its seems more comfortable. But i cant find a detailed timetable on aircoach.ie .have anyone used it?
our plan is get a taxi to O'connell street and then the aircoach.

and about Munich, any recommendations to eat or anything??

We stayed at the Achat hotel, which was right beside the tube thing so we could get around easily. Found this nice little restaurant/bar and it had lovely grub, so nice that we went back the next day, called Cafe Zentral. Take a look around the Marienplatz and world famous Glockenspiel as well.

I tried the Journey Wizard on Aircoach.ie (just say Ballsbridge to Airport and then choose O'connell st on the next drop down) and it gave me times of 3.45, 4.45 & 5.25

If there's two of you get a taxi all the way out to the airport. There will be no traffic on the road at that time and should cost no more than 20 euros.

but wouldnt it work out cheaper if i get a taxi to o'connell street then the aircoach? aircoach is 12 euros(return) each..24 euros..taxi.. how much a taxi will cost to o;connell street? just say 10e(doubt it'd be that dear). whole trip would be about 44euros. (another 10 for coming back.we're back at 10pm.)

get a taxi all the way....hmm..seems like it works out quite similar?

hi ,we booked k+k harras hotel. its near the u-bahn station Harras. how long did ye stay there? do you have to get the s-bahn to marienplatz then transfer to the u-bahn?

I think the s-bahn goes to the marienplatz without any transferring to do, but I would have to dig out my travel notes to make sure of that. Cheap anyway even if you had to do both. I was 4 days there.

we're going for 5 days. i was looking at the s-bahns and u-bahns. do you recommend us to get a week ticket? the rings and stuff is really confusing!!

It is probably cheaper to get a week ticket. Once you get there then you'll be fine. I made it around fairly well and my sense of direction is awful. Have fun!

i was in munich just over a week ago for 3 nights, nice spot.

did a bike tour, wasn't mikes bike tour, was the free one, you just give em a tip at the end, i really enjoyed it, so gave em €15 which i thought was fair.

i actualy bumped into mike, asking was this the free tour, he looked pissed off and told me he never heard of the free tour, even though they were right beside him, bit of a dik tbh.

you should definitly go to the hofbrahouse (don't know the spelling) big touristy beer and meat spot, good craic.

Agreed. You can't rely on the aircoach at that time of the morning.
