The 4-day Intercontinental Cup continues this week, with Ireland taking on Bermuda in Castle Ave, Clontarf. The match starts on Thursday (23rd) at 11am.

Depending on how things work out I might head along to watch the day's play on Friday. Anyone else thinking of going? It's a rare chance to see Ireland play the longer form of the game, a format that they have excelled at recently.

Ive been a closet cricket fan for 10 years this will finally be my outing. Few questions

How much is entrance if any at all? Can't seem to find anything online
    Whats the seating situation like?
Whats the policy on alcohol at the event? is it frowned upon. Everytime i watch a match most of the crowd are drinking. Can you bring your own in.
I would very much like to bring a banner with "4" and "6" covered in gold/yellow/blue/pink glitter. Thats cool yeah ?

Not sure on this, but it won't excessive - I'd reckon around a tenner or so.

Seating is plastic seats spread around the boundary, wherever you like in the ground. It's all very informal.

They say you can't, but there's usually no problem bringing in a bottle of wine or two. I doubt you'd get a case of beer in though. The bar in the Pavilion will be open & only too happy to assist with your alcohol requirements.

It's allowed, yes. Whether it's cool or not is another question...
