Stupid question re:accommodation application

Hey all, was just offered a law course in Trinity and decided to apply for accommodation in Trinity Hall, living in Wexford and all. Just one thing that annoys me on the application form, it asks if I'm a scholar. Now I'm not sure what to answer because well, I don't exactly know what they mean by scholar. Do they mean someone who went to secondary school? Someone who is applying under a scholarship? Or someone who has done previous research/degree work in the university?

I think your in the wrong section - a scholar is a person who has gotten an overall first in their scholarship exams, noramlly held in the second year - you are then given free rooms on campus, among other things.

If you are in the right section, the answer is no. However the fact that you are being asked that would seem to indicate that you are applying though the continuing students form, not the first year form.

    I could be wrong though.

new applicants go here mate ->http://www.tcd.ie/registrar_of_chambers/RoomApplicationProcedures07-08.php.

click apply online, then enter your CAO number and hey presto (well not really you also have to answer those two questions and fill out the rest but...)

Hmmmm, I too am from Wexford. A big bad second year though...
