I have only gotten into Dr Who the last year but i have noticed the vast amount of baddies who are everyday things- scarecrows- manniquins-statues(That statue one freaked the hell outta me)

Whats with this show and its ability to use everyday things that arent scary and turn them into something not just terrifying but also kind of amusing:o

I haven't seen any Dr.Who since the Christopher Eccleston ones, my favourites were the Slitheen. I think it is time I caught up.

Well be sure to check out the Family of Blood with their army of scarecrows and the statues that can only move when you aren't looking at them...

They were in the best episodes of season 3 of New Who.

Deffo- Those statures were so freaky- it wasnt that they moved- its the way you never saw them move at all- they directed it so in a flick of light theyd be somewhere else- brilliant directing and frikkin freaky!:D :D:D

Sounds like 'The Seeds of Doom' - damn, what a great title :)

I always liked this little slug thing, whose name I can't remember nor the episode, that had a sibiliant hiss at the end of all his sentences. Something about him repelled me, making me twist inside.
